I would like Light Conversations to be just that. A conversation.

Light Conversations LLC is a company dedicated to theatrical design in the world of lighting design, video, and projection design.

Conversations are fascinating to me because they are an equation that results in new thought, new ideas, new concepts. So I thought about moving my website in a different direction. It should still act as a place to see my work, a portfolio, per say, but it should also be a place for conversation. So as I move forward I pledge to, when I can, add photos, blog entries and videos of and from the work that I am doing. Aspiring for the conversation and ideas to flow in both directions.

Brett Campbell, the Impromptu Judge and a National Art Critic, stated this about the Don Giovanni 3-minute clip Shreveport Opera submitted for a Shreveport Regional Arts Council (SRAC) Award: "The climactic scene in which Don Giovanni descends into hell is one of the most famous in opera, posing a challenge for any ambitious group to reinvent and refresh it while staying true to the original story. Of the half dozen or so versions I've seen in different cities, this is one of the most original and gripping.
